Welcome to the Edge Thursday Badminton Club. We are a volunteer-run badminton group, but we are not currently affiliated as a badminton club with Badminton England.
We are open to adult players only. We play with feather shuttlecocks, and our standard of play is between that of a strong intermediate player and an advanced player able to play inter-club level badminton.
Club Nights
Our Club Sessions are held on Thursday evenings between 8 pm and 10 pm at The Edge Leisure Centre in Haslemere. We normally book between 2 and 3 courts and have between 8 and 16 players who attend each session. We help organise a variety of games amongst all players.
We use the Spond App to communicate with our members and to share details of forthcoming club sessions and events, so please visit the Apple Store or Google Play Store to download the Spond App, so that we can stay in touch. Fees
We have an annual Club Membership Fee of £160 that is payable in advance, but your first session is free of charge, so you can try us out at no charge.
Standard of Play
We try to maintain a good standard of play across all games to help ensure the enjoyment of all players, so all members are expected to be able to demonstrate a minimum standard of play that is consistent with that of an experienced intermediate player.
