Image Use Policy
This Image Use Policy only applies to the Edge Monday Badminton Club and the Edge Thursday Badminton Club.
The Edge Monday Badminton Club and the Edge Thursday Badminton Club (“the Club”) will only use the image of a club member (or past club member) where the member has given consent for their image to be used.
The Club will request consent from members for the use of their image on the Club Registration Form, but may also make further requests at any time whilst you are a member.
If consent is given by a member for the Club to use their image, then images and video featuring the member may be used by the Club to help promote or publicise the Club and its activities on the Club's website, on the Club's social media pages, and in news articles sent to local and national media organisations. The Club will not share or publish any personal information alongside any image without first obtaining explicit permission from the relevant member, e.g. for news articles.
The Club will take all reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure that any images and videos are stored securely and used solely to promote and publicise the Club. Any member can withdraw their consent for the Club to use their image at any time by sending an email to [email protected] titled “Image – Withdrawal of Consent”.
If a member withdraws their consent, the Club will remove all images and videos featuring the member from the Club's website and social media pages, and the images and videos will be deleted from any electronic storage used by the Club. The Club will confirm by email to the member, within 14 days, that all such images and videos featuring the member have been removed and deleted.
If any member becomes aware that any images of themselves or other members are being misused, then please inform the Club Welfare Officer immediately by sending an email to [email protected]
